Mont Orgueil Castle
Towering over the pretty fishing port of Gorey for more than 800 years, this is one of the finest medieval fortresses in existence — and a symbol of Jersey’s national identity and independent character.
Bonne Nuit Bay
A small, peaceful natural harbour nestled into the north coast and sheltered by towering cliffs. At low tide a sandy beach appears below the pebbles — the perfect spot for a picnic.
Corbière Lighthouse
Jersey’s iconic white lighthouse, standing over the island’s south-western corner, flanked by rocks and reached by a dramatic tidal causeway. Time it with the tide.
Railway Walk
Follow the route of Jersey’s old railway on a peaceful four-mile path from St Aubin to Corbière — tree-lined, full of island history, and ideal for cycling with great refreshment stops.
St Catherine’s Breakwater
A favourite with sailors, canoeists and anglers. Begun in 1847 as a Royal Navy harbour, the long breakwater is now a scenic spot to ride out to and take in the view.
Plémont Bay
One of Jersey’s most beautiful beaches — a sandy cove on the north-west tip with rock pools, fascinating sea caves and even a freshwater waterfall. Pure natural drama.
